Lucas' Birthday Party Decorations!

Lucas had his birthday party(s) this weekend. We had a friends party on the 16th and then a family lunch on the 17th! I decided to make all his decorations this year. It was very fun. His cake didnt turn out how i wanted(color wise, some of my icing colors were hard :( )








I am going to put most of the decorations in his room once i take them down(except for the ones that say happy birthday lucas)... Wonder what i can make for decorations for Alexis' 2nd birthday?! Guess Ill hafta see what she's into by then!

My baby boy is 3 today! Where did the time go? He went from a itty bitty 4lb 13 oz baby




to a 30lb 3 year old!!





We are having parties this weekend and ill post pictures of the homemade decorations i made for it. I almost made Lucas a quilt and Im almost done it so ill post about that too!

Hair Bows

I love making Alexis hair bows and clips and she finally has enough hair that they will stay in..Thanks Jodie for telling me how to make this style of bow..its so cute.

Reuseable Coffee Sleeves

One of my favorite things to make are reuseable coffee sleeves. I just got a Starbucks coffee sleeve and traced it bigger onto cardboard to make a template. I use thermal batting in between the fabric so hands on get hot!

New start...

I just deleted all my old posts and I am trying to decide what to use this for! Maybe just for showing off all my creations and kids! :)

Productive week so far!

I dont know where i've gotten my energy from this week..
So far this week i've:
baked banana pecan muffins(which are delicious and almost gone!)
washed the floors
started to straighten up...dont know where to put everything. we have too much stuff
made mars bars squares
made and froze meatballs
seperated a package of chicken drumsticks and put them in marinades

theres lots i still hafta do like more cleaning (the usual ugh) ..i think ill make some blueberry muffins tommorow once the banana pecan ones are gone! Im also gonna finish the rice bag im working on tonight or tommorow. Feels good to be productive!
